Our backyard is now a play area!

Last Friday we got a special delivery! Morgan's new play set was delivered and installed. We had a weekend of fun enjoying it. Well, until the rain rolled in on Sunday. I must say that Morgan has a very special Daddy! He wasted no time this weekend building Morgan a sandbox and made a wooden lid for it. As you can see below, they had hours of sand fun! Its going to be a great summer for sure! Cant wait for her friends to come over after all this rain passes to help her break it in.

Bluebonnet Season!!!

We were starting to wonder if bluebonnets were going to show up this year.     In places they normally show up near our house, they didnt come through this year.   Then I learned about some new spots, and as you can see, Morgan and her best friend Lily enjoyed the bluebonnets one morning this week.     You have got to love the last picture.    Typical Toddlers for sure!

Dallas Arboretum

A couple weeks ago we spent  a day at the Dallas Arboretum with my good friend Jenni and her son Corbin.   The spring flowers here are a must see this time of year.    It was a perfect day for our visit. We had lunch at the tea room.    Have I said this before.  "I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!"

Easter on the run!

Im very thankful for the meaning of Easter!   The message on Sunday was so true.   Most of the world thought that Christ on the cross was the end of the story.   It actually was the beginning and not a period at the end but a coma.  We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to, thanks to him!
We had a very busy last couple of weeks.  In between a little rain here and there and cooler temperatures, we still managed to attend our easter events.   From our community Easter Egg Hunt to our Toddler group Easter party to Easter Sunday  at church, then brunch with my family and then late afternoon with Frank's family.  It was a busy week!  Lets just say Morgan was on a sugar high most of the time.  I think it finally caught up with her.  She slept until 9:30 this morning!
I hope everyone had a great easter and Happy Monday!  Morgan loving her treats is my best shot Monday
