Enjoying the Texas Bluebonnets

North Texas is not lacking in bluebonnets this year!   The rain we have had over last few months helped a great deal.     We even found several new locations.    I so love this time a year and the 1st signs of Spring.   Below is one of the fields I found thanks to a good friend telling me about it.   Morgan and I agreed, its our favorite!

Team up Thurday

First sign of SPRING here in Texas is bluebonnets!   So, I chose SPRING as our theme this week.   Melissa photo on top.    What a sweet picture of her two children in the bluebonnets.    So precious.   Of course I couldnt resist Morgan in the field of bluebonnets as well.    I discovered a new field of bluebonnets, and instantly I am in love!     Thanks again Melissa for your photo and a great week.

Team up Thursday

Melissa picked Easter this week as our Thursday theme.     How special is it to find a open bird egg in your yard on Easter day?    What a very special  sign of new life, and perfect example of what Easter is all about.  My image also had that in mind.   I created mine with a Cross ornament in my kitchen window.    It represents to me, Jesus sacrifice for us.      Hope everyone had a very special and blessed Easter.

Easter

After Church we headed to my Dad's house for a relaxing afternoon with family.    My Dad is retired, and has some amazing flower beds.  We enjoyed exploring his yard and seeing all the signs of Spring!  It sprinkled a majority of the day, but it didn't stop Morgan from getting out to find her Easter eggs.

Hope everyone had a very blessed Easter!   Happy Monday!

Team up Thursday

I picked REFLECTION this week.   Melissa image posted first here.    How cute is the moment she caught of her daughter being curious in her reflection.   Love how we both shot our daughters!  Thanks Melissa for a great image.    In my shot is the best place to be in our backyard this time of year with 70 degree weather!  I think Morgan agrees!  Really I just told her to be still or she will fall out of the hammock.    Never seen her so still!
