Madi

We took an afternoon while my sister and her family were here to get some portraits of my three nieces.  I  finished up on Madi's pictures this week.  She is the youngest, but don't let that fool you. Since she was an infant, she has kept us all laughing.  She is full of personality and loved putting on her dance outfit for me.  She's a great dancer!     While they were here visiting, she insisted that everyone keep Morgan's playroom clean!  I loved it of course!    I miss you Madi. Morgan's playroom is not the same since you left! 

Family fun!

We had an incredible time with my sister and her family while they where here for a visit.  They are accustomed to cooler temperatures in North Carolina.   So my three nieces said often "Its hot!"   What they didn't know is that 97-98 degrees was cooler for us considering last month it got up to  104 degrees!     Our favorite thing to do while they were here was just hanging out and jet skiing.   Morgan got very use to having the girls and Aunt Rhonda around and she even picked up some new phrases.   "What you doing?" , "Where is Aunt Rhonda?" ,   "I want to go to Starbucks!".

We also helped the twins, Jordan and Ashley with their very own blog.    What a blessing that they have this opportunity to make a difference in other kids' lives.    Next year they will be going on a mission trip to Africa.

 

It's back to reality this week.    Boy, Im realizing they helped a lot with Morgan!    This week she is saying "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, play with me!"  

Sonoma, CA

The temperatures were in the 70's to low 80's everyday with mountains in the distance and green everywhere!   Sonoma, California is beautiful and Frank and I so enjoyed every moment.  During our 1st trip to this area 4 years ago we mainly stayed in Napa.  So in this trip we explored Sonoma where there are mainly family/smaller owned vineyards.   It was very relaxing!  

We have been busy since we returned. My sister and family are here visiting for two weeks.   It has been nice having a house full of girls!   Morgan is loving it.   I will post some pictures soon. 

Anniversary Getway: San Francisco

Frank and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary.    We visited San Francisco and Napa Valley on our honeymoon and couldn't wait to return.  This year seemed to be the best time to do so!  You would think that with no responsibilities, we would sleep in every morning,  right?    Well, with the two hour time difference from CA to TX, we found ourselves waking up at 7am for the first couple of days waiting for things to open at 10am.  OK, we felt old! 

The weather was perfect, in the 70's-80's the whole time.  It was a nice break from the TX heat.

Here are a few pictures of our first day in San Francisco.    I will post some soon of our 3 days in Sonoma, CA.   

Thank you honey for an amazing anniversary!   I'm always amazed that despite how hectic our lives become, you are always caring and patient, you mean the world to me.  I so enjoyed our quality time together.
