Its going to be a busy summer

This week I have been busy getting organized and getting ready for a fun summer.   From Morgan's swim lessons in June, to my CASA volunteer training also starting in June,  to my high school 20 year reunion in July, to my sister and her family coming for two weeks in August for fun on the lake, and Frank and I celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary on a trip to Napa in Augur

We got a head start on the summer fun, as you can see in the pictures below.   Finally no rain, and lots of SUNSHINE!      Im very thankful for great friends Morgan and I have.    We are looking forward to a great summer.

Rain, Rain, go away, I want to go out and play!

The TX weather lately has made photography sessions difficult.   Rain and strong winds have caused me to reschedule a couple of sessions. The pictures below are from one of those days, but the rain didn't stop us this day.     These are from a couple weeks ago.   My good friend Brooke and I took Morgan and Caroline out for some photo fun at a Warehouse in McKinney we had access to for the day.       We had fun exploring the light coming into the warehouse.   Caroline  is 4, and Morgan is 2.  As you can see Morgan looked up to Caroline and loved following her around.   Beautiful girls, and I loved there innocents!   They had fun exploring with us!

Happy Mother Day!

I took this picture recently and thought it represents Mothers Day perfectly.  The poem sums up also how I feel about my mom. These days I don't get to see her as often as I like since I live in TX and she lives in Indiana.   Im Thankful for all she showed me over the years on how to love and give!   Thanks mom, I love and miss you!

New York City!

The LADIES in New York City!  Boy, that can be dangerous, right?  My husband was very sweet in watching Morgan for long weekend so I could sneak away with my sister to go visit my daughter Britney and her husband Adam.  The weekend consist of,  the Guys and Doll broadway play the first night to shopping during the day, to trying some of Adams favorite restaurants in the evenings.  We had so much fun!  Britney and Adam are for sure true New Yorkers residence!    They amazed me how they get around the city so easily and know all the places to go see. Thank goodness for them, because the subways totally confuse me!  The pictures are limited due to rained a little every day.  I miss Britney & Adam already!   I loved seeing them!
