Getting ready for the Thanksgiving Holidays!

 I have been behind on posting pictures lately.     We are getting ready for having family over for Thanksgiving, and Britney and Adam came home for an unexpected visit last week.   Maw-Maw has been sick in the hospital and they came to see her before her surgery.  We are so thankful that her surgery went well and no cancer!   We are praying for you Maw-Maw for a fast and smooth recovery!   I didnt get a chance to take any pictures while Britney was here since it was so hectic.   But,  I got back in the groove this evening playing with Frank & Morgan  in the backyard.      

Also, we talked to Britney tonight on Web Cam for the 1st time.  She and Gabe have it on their computer now.    We all sat around Gabe's computer and talked to Britney live on the computer.  Really cool!   Morgan just froze in shock that she could see Sis Britney live on the computer!   And of course being a mom,  I said " kids lets do this at the same time every night!"   Do you think they will go for that?    Im going out tomorrow to get one for my computer!   What a great way to keep connected while Britney is miles away at school.

Today we had a power outage for couple hours. Frank had to resort to listening to the Cowboy game on his portable radio.  Morgan insisted on listening too, as you can see in the 1st picture below.  We also took a walk to the lake in the backyard.  Frank showed Morgan the ducks flying off, and we enjoyed the cool breeze!  Definitely great father and daughter time!

A Special Family Expecting!

My friend Cristina asked me to take her maternity pictures and family pictures.    It was hard to just pick a couple pictures to post on my blog.   They are a beautiful family and expecting another baby girl in December.    Im looking forward to meeting their new bundle of joy soon!

 

HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!

Our backyard for sure looks like Fall season now!  I just followed Morgan around the backyard one evening.  She was very curious!   I must say that this is one of my favorite seasons! Fall also means we are getting closer to my oldest daughter coming home for a visit.    Britney and Adam booked their flights for January.  Im counting down the days!     I miss them so much!   Britney is working hard in school and has one more semester to go.   Gabe has been super busy these days too with work, school and photography jobs.    He did come to me tonight and said "Mom lets go take pictures together soon!"  That made my night!  =)

Morgan's 1st Trick or Treat!

We had a full day on Halloween.   From our Tots for Fun group party during the day to hay ride and trick or treating that evening.     The party was at my good friend and neighbor Stefanie's house.   Thanks Stefanie for having us in your home.  The kiddos had so much fun and  I loved all the halloween decorations and seeing all the great costumes! The halloween team did a great job!   We also caught up with our neighbors that evening for our neighborhood hay ride and trick or treating.  The kiddo's moved fast so it was hard to get a lot of pictures.    Morgan by the end of the night was saying "Trick or Treat" over and over!  It was great seeing the kids having so much fun and we enjoyed visiting with our neighbors.   I must say after Morgan crashed even Mom and Dad enjoyed some Halloween candy! =)
