Indian Paintbrush

It looks like I'm way late joining the iphone fun of the application Hipstamatic. But really, I took this back at the beginning of the summer and just realized I never post it here. This was when we could take a walk by the lake at night and not feel the high humidity. Now its over 100 degrees during the day. Its hard to believe the summer is already half way over. Not only did a receive a school supply catalog in the mail, but also a Halloween one too. I must be way behind.
We have three dogs. Two labs Scout and Sage, and one pug, Sparky. Guess who is Morgan's favorite? They are closer in size and sparky lets Morgan do whatever! I must be lacking in the picture taking since Morgan said this day, "Mom take my picture!" So I went quickly and grabbed my camera and sparky. Sparky is much easier to take picture of then the big dogs. Of course it also helps that they are so cute together!
Morgan loves playing with Sparky. The only way she can have hours of play without him running off is to put him in her room and shut the door. I peaked in one day to see what was going on, and this is how I found Sparky. He doesn't seem to mind being a princess. Im sure he's thinking "This is a whole lot better than being locked in her closet for hours before anyone found me".
We have been home bound the last two days with a little one running a low grade fever. I have to say I love it when Morgan wants to cuddle. I am also enjoying the slower pace. It seems we have been going non stop since April. We have taken two trips and have had company stay with us as well. I have taken the time to get caught up on posting pictures.
My twin sister Rhonda and I celebrated our 40th birthday with a long weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. Our hubby's where awesome staying behind with the kiddo's so we could have a special birthday together. The older we get, the more I appreciate having a twin sister. We will always be there for each other regardless where life takes us. I am certainly blessed with a great sister and a great example of a strong christian women, mother, and wife. Our weekend together with no interruptions, no kids, husbands and just the two of us, was so very speical. I have never been to Charleston before, but it was beautiful and has so much southern character.
Im on the left, and Rhonda on the right. One benefit of being the one taking the photos is avoiding getting your picture taken. LOL!
I loved the rock roads through out the city, and the flowers and shutter windows. The city is right on the coast.
